Samgyeopsal has been a trend here in Baliuag
Samgyeopsal is one of the most popular Korean dishes, refers to pork belly meat slices grilled on your table. But what seems to have brought the trend to its upward course is the many restaurants’ offering of unlimited meat.
For about 199 to 399 pesos, one can find a number of restaurants with offer of unlimited pork (some offer both pork and beef). Often, it is not only the meat which is unlimited, but also the side dishes and vegetables that come free with the meal. In some restaurants, one can cook their meat on a grill pan on top of a portable gas stove brought on the table.
However, the more premium restaurants have charcoal grill brought to the table, which somehow provide a more flavorful taste to the fresh meat. Still, some other restaurants offer to cook your meat for you, either in their kitchen or on your table. But of course, it is always more fun to grill the meat yourself. This kind of Korean dishes has been a trend here in the Philippines not only in Baliuag but also in other places.

Everywhere you go in any part or places in the Philippines you can see a lot of samgyeopsal restaurants especially in Manila. Many people come in manila to taste this kind of dishes because it is trendy and it is from korea. It become famous in the philippines because it is from Korea, Koreans are famous in PH because of Kpop. They think that if they ate samgyeopsal they can also look like their idols. Some just eat because it looks nice and presentable to eat.
